2020 has brought many obstacles and change in the last six months.

In the last several months, the residential real estate market has seen tremendous business from sellers and buyers. Many agents and REALTORS have had properties flying off the market due to low interest rates within the industry.

We have also started to see a resurgence of the commercial real estate market. Commercial property owners are keeping their eyes open for opportunities as we near the end of the pandemic and things start to return to relative normalcy.

With the help of local city officials and Gov. Greg Abbott, West Texas retail, restaurant, and other businesses have either fully reopened or opened to some capacity.

In most recent news, Abbott also announced today, June 4, that all college and professional sports may resume playing outdoors with spectator capacity set at 50%. Last week, the capacity was set at 25%, so it is likely we should still see an increase before fall sports start.
